Introduction
BB Dugout Toolkit is a free web app for creating and managing Blood Bowl team rosters, tracking leagues and tournaments, and recording match reports — all based on BB2025 Season 3 rules.
- 1Pick a team from the team selector. Use the search bar and tier filters to find your team. Each team has its own positionals, special rules, reroll cost and tier.
- 2Build your roster in the Roster Builder. Add players, hire star players, configure staff (rerolls, coaches, cheerleaders), and manage your 1,000k budget.
- 3Save your team and take it to the pitch. Use Game Mode during matches, record match reports, join leagues and tournaments, and track your progression over time.
Rosters
The Roster Builder is the core of the app. It has 7 tabs: Roster, Progression, Games, Star Players, Inducements, Staff and Config.
- 1Roster tab — Add players by clicking the "+" next to a position. Each player shows MA, ST, AG, PA and AV stats. You can rename players or use the dice button for a random thematic name. Remove players with the "X" button. Your roster needs 11–16 players.
- 2Staff tab — Adjust rerolls, assistant coaches (up to 6), cheerleaders (up to 6), dedicated fans (1–6), and apothecary. You can also change the treasury if your league uses a different starting budget.
- 3Budget — Your team starts with 1,000k gold. The budget bar at the top shows spent vs. remaining gold. Tap the Team Value (TV) to see a detailed breakdown of where your gold is going.
- 4Star Players tab — Hire famous mercenaries filtered by your team's special rules. Search by name or skill. Star players are included in TV and appear in Game Mode and exported PDFs.
- 5Inducements tab — One-time purchases for a single match: Bloodweiser Kegs, Bribes, Wizards, Extra Training and more. Each has a cost, max quantity, and team availability restrictions.
- 6Progression tab — Track SPP (Star Player Points) per player. Edit SPP totals directly, add skill upgrades, mark injuries (niggling, -MA, -AV, etc.), and toggle MNG (Missing Next Game). The unspent SPP is calculated automatically.
- 7Games tab — Record standalone games with opponent name, result, score, and per-player SPP. View pie charts for SPP breakdown and bar charts for performance trends. Edit or delete any game.
- 8Game Mode — Tap "Game Mode" in the header for a match-day view. Track score, turns (1–8), half (H1/H2), rerolls, and player status (OK/KO/BH/SI/Dead/Sent Off). Players sort by status automatically. All state persists until you close the tab.
- 9Config tab — Export your roster as PDF (A4, print-ready with skill reference) or JSON (for backup/sharing). Import a JSON file to restore a roster. Generate a share link (requires account) so anyone can view your roster read-only.
Leagues & Tournaments
Organize multi-match competitions with other coaches. Leagues use round-robin format; tournaments use elimination brackets.
- 1Create a competition from the Leagues or Tournaments page. A 3-step wizard guides you: name & format, invite players via join code, and enroll a roster.
- 2Enrolled rosters are independent snapshots — all SPP, injuries and deaths in the competition stay isolated from your original roster.
- 3The owner creates matches using the Match Wizard: select home/away rosters, enter date, round, score, and record per-player events (TD, CAS, CP, INT, DEF, MVP).
- 4After saving a match, a Post-Match Wizard handles gate earnings, skill upgrades, stat advances, and injury tracking — all applied automatically.
- 5The Standings tab shows a league table with W/D/L, TDs, casualties and points. The Rankings tab highlights top performers: Top Scorer, Most Violent, MVP King, Best Passer, Best Interceptor, Best Offense and Best Defense.
- 6Editing or deleting a match fully reverts all progression before re-applying, so standings always stay accurate.
- 7Share your competition with a public link so anyone can view standings and results without logging in.
Match Reports
Record standalone match reports outside of competitions. Requires a free account.
- 1Go to Match Reports in the navigation menu and tap "New Match Report" to start the step-by-step wizard.
- 2Step 1: Select two different rosters (Home and Away) from your saved teams. Step 2: Enter date, round, competition name, score and optional notes.
- 3Step 3: Record player events — TDs, casualties, completions, interceptions, deflections and MVP (max 1 per team). A warning appears if recorded TDs don't match the team score.
- 4SPP is calculated automatically: TD = 3, Casualty = 2, Completion = 1, Interception = 2, Deflection = 1, MVP = 4.
- 5View saved reports with full scoreboards and per-player SPP breakdowns. Edit, share via unique link, or export as PDF.
- 6The Statistics page aggregates data from all your reports: team standings (W/D/L, TDs, CAS, points) and player rankings (TDs, CAS, MVP, total SPP). Filter by competition.
