Elven Union
Tier 2About
The Elven Union is Blood Bowl's purest expression of elven football -- speed, grace, and a passing game that can slice through any defence. Unlike their more specialised cousins, the Elven Union draws players from across the elven kingdoms, creating a roster that blends the best athletic traditions of elvenkind into one cohesive team. Every player on the pitch moves with a fluid elegance that makes even simple handoffs look like choreographed art.
At the heart of the Elven Union lies an extraordinary passing attack. Throwers with Pass and Safe Pass can deliver the ball with pinpoint accuracy, while Catchers boasting MA8 and Nerves of Steel streak downfield to haul in passes that no other team would even attempt. The Blitzers bring Block and Side Step to the table, giving the team a reliable hitting presence that can also slip away from retaliatory blocks.
The price of all this finesse is fragility. Elven Union players are not built to absorb punishment, and a few well-placed fouls or a sustained ground game can tear the team apart. Coaches must embrace a philosophy of avoidance over confrontation, using superior speed and positioning to keep their players safe while dismantling the opponent with breathtaking offensive plays.

Strengths
- Outstanding passing game with Safe Pass on throwers and Nerves of Steel on catchers
- Exceptional speed across the roster with MA8 catchers and MA6+ linemen
- High agility on every player makes ball handling extremely reliable
- Cheap team rerolls at 50k gold allow for a well-stocked treasury
Weaknesses
- Very fragile with AV8+ or AV9+ across the roster making injuries frequent
- Low strength means losing most blocking matchups without assists
- No access to a big guy leaves the team without a strong anchor piece
- Expensive positional players make replacing casualties painful for the treasury
Tips & Strategy
- Avoid unnecessary contact -- use your speed to run around opponents rather than through them
- Develop Block on catchers early to keep them on their feet during crucial plays
- Use Side Step on blitzers to control positioning and funnel opponents into bad angles
- Prioritise scoring quickly on offence to minimise the number of turns your players spend in danger
