Goblin
Tier 3About
Goblin teams are Blood Bowl's most gleefully chaotic rosters, a green tide of mischief-makers backed by an arsenal of Secret Weapons that would make even the most creative Skaven engineer jealous. Every game with Goblins is an unpredictable spectacle where the plan is rarely the same as the outcome. Coaches who choose Goblins are not in it for trophies -- they are in it for the stories.
The roster is built around cheap, expendable Goblin linemen supported by an impressive array of specialist players. The Bomma lobs explosives into enemy formations, the Looney revs a chainsaw through anyone standing still, the Fanatic whirls a ball-and-chain with reckless abandon, and the Pogoer and Doom Diver add aerial acrobatics to the mayhem. Two Trolls anchor the line, providing the muscle the Goblins desperately lack -- when they remember what they are supposed to be doing, that is.
Playing Goblins is an exercise in embracing disaster. Secret Weapons get sent off, Trolls fail Really Stupid rolls, bombs scatter into your own team, and sometimes everything goes spectacularly wrong. But when the stars align and a Doom Diver lands perfectly in the end zone, or a Fanatic carves a path through four players, there is simply nothing more entertaining in all of Blood Bowl.

Strengths
- Massive variety of Secret Weapons creates constant threats and distractions
- Extremely cheap linemen allow easy replacement and full bench depth
- Throw Team-Mate from Trolls enables surprise one-turn touchdown attempts
- Stunty and Dodge on all Goblins makes them slippery in traffic
Weaknesses
- Abysmal armour and strength make Goblins easy to injure and push around
- Secret Weapons are ejected after the drive, limiting their long-term impact
- Really Stupid on Trolls means your big guys are unreliable without babysitters
- Very low team strength makes it nearly impossible to win a sustained blocking game
Tips & Strategy
- Use Secret Weapons aggressively early in the drive since they will be sent off anyway
- Always keep a Goblin next to each Troll to help them pass Really Stupid rolls
- Practise the one-turn touchdown with Throw Team-Mate -- it wins games you have no business winning
- Accept that you will lose players and plan your inducements around Bribes to keep Secret Weapons on the pitch
