Human
Tier 2About
The Human team is the gold standard of Blood Bowl, the benchmark against which every other roster is measured. They are the team that does everything reasonably well without excelling at any one thing in particular. This versatility is both their greatest strength and their greatest challenge, as Human coaches must learn to adapt their game plan to exploit the specific weaknesses of each opponent rather than relying on a single dominant strategy.
The roster offers a balanced spread of positional players. Blitzers with MA7 and Block form a reliable hitting corps, Catchers bring MA8 with Catch and Dodge for a genuine deep threat, and Throwers boast PA2+ with Sure Hands and Pass for the most dependable passing platform in the game. An Ogre big guy adds some much-needed muscle to the front line, though his Bone Head and Loner traits mean he cannot always be counted on. Human Linemen are perfectly serviceable at MA6/ST3/AG3+/AV9+.
What makes Humans special is their ceiling. A developed Human team with well-chosen skill upgrades can compete with absolutely anyone. Block-Dodge Blitzers become elite ball carriers, Catchers with Sprint and Sure Feet turn into unstoppable scoring machines, and Guard-heavy Linemen can hold the line against even the bashiest teams. The Human team rewards coaches who are willing to master fundamentals and adjust their tactics on the fly.
