An Ogre team is the Blood Bowl equivalent of bringing a wrecking ball to a chess match. With up to six Ogres on the pitch at once, each boasting Strength 5, Mighty Blow, and Throw Team-Mate, this is a roster that can quite literally throw Gnoblars into the end zone for touchdowns. The sheer physical dominance of a wall of Ogres is something few teams can match, and when the dice cooperate, watching an Ogre team in full flow is one of the great spectacles of the sport.
The problem, of course, is Bone Head. Every single Ogre carries this trait, meaning that on any given turn one or more of your big guys might simply stand there drooling instead of executing your carefully planned play. The Gnoblars that fill out the roster are tiny, fragile, and almost comically bad at everything except being thrown -- but their Dodge, Side Step, and Stunty combination makes them surprisingly slippery speed bumps. The Runt Punter adds another dimension by being able to kick Gnoblars even further downfield.
Coaching Ogres is an exercise in controlled chaos. You need to accept that your plans will regularly go wrong due to Bone Head, and build redundancy into every play. When things click, you will flatten opponents and score in the most entertaining ways possible. When they do not, you will watch your Ogres stare blankly at the sky while Gnoblars scatter like startled mice. This team is not for the faint of heart, but it is always memorable.

Strengths
- Up to six ST5 players on the pitch gives overwhelming blocking power
- Throw Team-Mate allows spectacular Gnoblar touchdown plays that bypass defences entirely
- Mighty Blow on every Ogre generates casualties at an alarming rate
- Has access to an apothecary to protect valuable Ogre players
Weaknesses
- Bone Head on every Ogre makes the team wildly unreliable turn to turn
- Gnoblars are extremely fragile with low armour and the Stunty trait
- Very poor ball handling across the roster with no reliable ball carriers
- Highly dependent on dice luck -- a string of Bone Head failures can lose any game
Tips & Strategy
- Always have a backup plan for Bone Head failures -- never rely on a single Ogre for a critical action
- Use Gnoblars as screens and trip hazards; their Side Step makes them annoying to remove from key squares
- Throw Team-Mate is your equaliser -- practise the one-turn touchdown with a launched Gnoblar to steal games
- Develop Break Tackle on your key Ogres so they can dodge away from marking even with low agility
