The Old World Alliance is a coalition team that brings together the stout folk of the Old World -- Humans, Dwarves, and Halflings -- under one banner. This unlikely partnership produces a roster of remarkable versatility, combining Human athleticism, Dwarven toughness, and Halfling pluck into a team that can adapt to almost any situation on the pitch. It is the classic underdog story, where three races that individually might not dominate find unexpected strength in unity.
The Human Blitzers provide the speed and hitting power at Movement 7 with Block, while Dwarf Blockers anchor the line of scrimmage with their characteristic stubbornness -- Block, Thick Skull, and AV10+ make them extremely hard to shift. Dwarf Runners offer reliable ball handling with Sure Hands, and the Halfling Hopefuls add a surprising wrinkle as cheap, dodgy players who can slip through gaps with Dodge, Right Stuff, and Stunty. An Ogre rounds out the roster as the team's big guy.
Coaching the Old World Alliance is about reading the game and deploying the right tools for each situation. Against bashy teams, your Dwarf Blockers can hold the line while Human Blitzers strike at weak points. Against agile teams, your mix of speed and muscle lets you pressure ball carriers while maintaining a solid defensive shape. The team rewards flexible thinking and punishes one-dimensional play from opponents.
