Slann
Tier 2About
The Slann are one of Blood Bowl's most eccentric teams, fielding an entire roster of amphibious players who combine surprising agility with the unique ability to leap over opponents. Hailing from the steaming jungles of Lustria, these frog-like beings bring a style of play unlike anything else on the pitch. Every player on the team has access to Leap, making them extraordinarily difficult to pin down.
The Slann roster is deceptively versatile. Their Linemen are competent ball-handlers, while Blitzers and Catchers provide genuine speed and hitting power. The addition of a Kroxigor gives them a much-needed anchor in the trenches. What makes them truly special, however, is their ability to bypass defensive screens entirely -- a well-timed Leap can carry the ball past the most carefully constructed cage.
Coaching the Slann requires creativity and a willingness to take calculated risks. Leap is powerful but not infallible, and a failed leap at the wrong moment can be catastrophic. The best Slann coaches learn to use Leap as a scalpel rather than a hammer, choosing their moments carefully to exploit gaps that other teams simply cannot reach.

Strengths
- Every player has Leap, making them almost impossible to contain
- Good agility across the roster for reliable ball-handling
- Extremely mobile -- can bypass screens and cages with ease
- Kroxigor provides much-needed muscle in the line of scrimmage
- Very Jump Up access allows downed players to contribute immediately
Weaknesses
- Low armour across the team makes them vulnerable to bashing
- Leap is not guaranteed -- failed leaps can ruin drives
- Relatively expensive team to build at full strength
- Limited strength means they struggle in prolonged blocking wars
Tips & Strategy
- Use Leap to bypass screens and steal the ball, not just to reposition
- Keep your Kroxigor centrally placed to anchor the line while your Slann leap around
- Prioritise Sure Feet and Dodge to make your leapers even more mobile and safe
- Avoid extended scrums; use your mobility to disengage and reposition
- Practice one-turn touchdown setups -- Leap makes them more achievable than with most teams
